Biography

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born January 27, 1756 in Salzburg, Austria and died December 5, 1791 in Vienna.  Mozart was a child prodigy.  Because he was so brilliant at the age of 3 he never went to school because of his amazing work. Mozart traveled all over Europe performing for royalty. When he grew up, Mozart moved to Vienna. His father Leopold was a violinist and composer. Mozart never studied from his parents that thought he was too advanced for anybody to teach him. When Mozart was two, he was hitting a key on the family piano and he thought it was so beautiful he cried. At the age of four he was composing for kings and queens. Mozart started writing songs when he was five years old.  His first piece published when he was seven. By nine years old he had already started writing symphonies.

He married Constance Weber in 1782. Most of his early songs were written for harpsichord. Some of his songs were Minuet for Harpsichord in 1761, Andante for Harpsichord in C Major in  1761,  Sonata for Harpsichord & Violin B Flat Major in 1764 and  Sonata for Harpsichord & Violin D Major in 1764.

Mozart was quite a prankster and loved do jokes. He was a very irresponsible adult. He often had to borrow money. He settled in Vienna where a lot of composers settled at that time.

Style

Mozart's best music has a natural flow and irresistible charm, and can express humor, joy or sorrow with both conviction and mastery. Mozart has a unique style. He was a musical genius, and this and the wide variety of music he was exposed to at an early age probably contributed to his early playing and composing and his distinct style. He composed a wide variety of music, including, but not limited to, concertos, operas, symphonies, masses, serenades, sonatas, chamber music. He wrote for most instruments. He style is unique including a trill at ends of passages. He usually has a pattern is his measures, and his pieces move fast. He is a truly unique composer.

Works

The opera was premiered in Vienna on September 30 1791, at the suburban Freihaus Theater aufder Wieden. Mozart conducted the orchestra. 1781. This opera, which Mozart composed in his twenty-fifth year for the Opera called Sienna in Munich. On tour in Italy he wrote two of his most famous operas, Mitridate and Lucio Silla. In 1791 he composed dance music for the Vienna Court. Some of his other work includes The Marriage of Figaro, A minor piano sonata, and Paris Symphony.
