B. Right! These remarkable and flexible hats are hand woven out of straw from palm leaves in Ecuador. The town of Jipijapa is famous for its style of Panama Hats. Sid Fleischman decided to use the name "Jipijapa" instead of "Panama" in his book because of its jolly sound! |
